Excellent work!
I'm not much of a Resident Evil fan (although I own the ace RE4), but I found this was brilliant nonetheless. It's really good when someone can make a flash about a game, and you don't have to know much about the game to enjoy the flash.
When all your other flash movies are finished, make one for Resident Evil 4. I'd love to see your take on that.

When I saw this flash's file size I expected it to be crap.
But this certainly isn't.

Small room for improvement
After finishing this tutorial, I couldn't get a working Play button.
However, after some extensive personal tuning, I sorted out the problem.
If you were to make this again, I'd recommend that you divide it up into segments accessed by a main menu, or that you have a button to skip the animations. I got so sick of having to replay the whole thing again and again just to see the last steps.
Still, yours was the only tutorial that got me exactly what I wanted.

Promising start
One particular problem: The gaps between scenes (when the screen went completely black) lasted for too long; I kept thinking the flash was finished.
In spite of that, for a first flash this is remarkable. Well done.

If you were to do this again at a later date, I'd recommend that you make the character stick to the one face and not just morph during static parts.
